What information do I need to provide for a consultation? +
To cast an accurate birth chart we need your date of birth, exact time of birth and place of birth. The more precise the birth time, the more detailed and accurate your reading will be.
Do you offer online consultations? +
Yes. Consultations are available both online (video / phone)and in person at our Chennai office. You can book whichever is most convenient - simply message us on WhatsApp to arrange a time.
I'm a complete beginner - can I still join a course? +
Absolutely. Our Basic ALP Astrology Training Courseassumes no prior knowledge and starts from the very foundations. Many of our students began with zero background and now confidently read charts for family and friends.
What types of guidance can a reading cover? +
Personal birth-chart insights, career & financial growth, marriage & relationship compatibility, and health & life-path healing solutions. Every reading is tailored to the questions that matter most to you.
Are the remedies you suggest difficult to follow? +
Not at all. Our remedies are practical and respectful of your lifestyle - simple rituals, timing guidance and positive practices. We never use fear; we explain the whybehind every suggestion.
Which astrology systems do you practise? +
We work primarily with the Akshaya Lagna Paddhati (ALP) method invented by Dr. S. Pothuvudaimoorthy, combined with modern psychological interpretation for clear, actionable guidance.

Is my information kept confidential? +
Always. Every reading is a private, judgement-free conversation. Your personal details and the topics you discuss are kept strictly confidential.
What is the course duration and is it offered in multiple languages? +
Course duration is normally 15 to 20 class days. The primary medium is Tamil, and courses are also taught in multiple languages. Please contact the ALP Office for the schedule, dates and timings.
Why should I learn ALP Astrology rather than just take a consultation? +
A consultation solves a specific question. Learning ALP gives you a broader understanding of why life unfolds the way it does and how to respond. It's a journey of self-discovery - ALP becomes a guiding light for the decisions you make and the pitfalls to avoid.
Do you have books released so far? +
Yes - 6 bookshave been released in both Tamil and English. They can be ordered through the ALP Office, our website, or e-commerce websites like Amazon.
Do you have software to support practice? +
Yes. We offer 3 software packages - Basic, Advanced and TP (Thirumana Porutham), available in Tamil and English as subscription packages. The ALP Astrology mobile app is also live on Google Play with over 100,000+ users since December 2019.
